Bright Painted Kitchen Renovation in Langenhoe

Mr & Mrs Haggie wanted a brighter, more practical kitchen for their home in Langenhoe, Colchester. The brief focused on improving the feel of the room while introducing useful storage, integrated appliances and a more polished finish throughout.

At survey stage, several design elements were especially important: a walk-in larder, larders taken up to ceiling height, plinth lights and integrated appliances. These details shaped the project around both day-to-day function and a cleaner, more complete appearance.

The chosen Lugano painted kitchen range helped create a lighter and more refined look, supported by stone and quartz worktop detailing, LVT flooring and a splashback. The finished space was designed to feel brighter, tidier and easier to use, while meeting the customer’s expectations for workmanship and a smooth installation experience.

The project began with a detailed survey to understand exactly what was needed before work started. This was particularly important because the kitchen included multiple elements: supply and fitting of the units, quartz worktops, flooring, plumbing, electrical work and plastering.

The renovation was completed over 2 weeks, with the work planned carefully so each stage could follow in a clear sequence. The installation included the kitchen units, worktops, LVT flooring and finishing details, with specialist input from a plasterer and worktop fitter.

No major issues were reported during the project. The source notes that everything ran to plan because the survey had highlighted what was required in advance, allowing the team to prepare properly and reduce disruption during the installation.
